An attractive Victorian ormolu mounted tulipwood & rosewood corner whatnot in the French taste. Beautifully veneered in the exotic tulipwood, usually only used as a narrow cross-banding or for inlay, the book veneers are then cross-banded and supported by finely turned rosewood columns. Each tier is supported by a slightly different set of supports with the base ending in carved scroll feet, enriched by ormolu finials and pierced galleries.
