A Victorian mahogany Games compendium. Of rectangular box form with rising lid and hinged front, enclosing folding board for Chess, Backgammon & Horse Racing game. The first tray containing backgammon counters, gilt metal cribbage board, ivory pegs and six associated dice. Second tray with four different packs of gaming cards, underneath this are six cold painted metal racing horses, and two dice shakers. The front containing a full set of turned ebonised and whitewood chess pieces.
